Hospital birth

The obstetricians of Women’s Health Associates attend births at the Danbury Hospital, a 371-bed community teaching hospital. The independent residency training program graduates 3 obstetrician-gynecologists annually. The hospital is also a clinical training site for medical students of the New York Medical College. Each of the labor/delivery rooms contains a whirlpool tub, and each of the 25 postpartum rooms is private. The hospital also has a level III-B intensive care nursery. Epidural anesthesia is available 24 hours a day by dedicated in-house anesthesiologists.
